Recent Work


My sculptural pieces explore the interface between biology and technology, where future forms may evolve from unforeseen amalgamations of the two. My work combines glass components—both blown and flame-worked—with recovered materials such as wood and discarded wire. Some pieces incorporate interior LED lamps that highlight the translucent nature of glass. My background in environmental engineering drives an interest in the intersection between organic and human-made structures, where whimsy stands in opposition to disturbingly unfamiliar forms.
